Tips For Handling Your Claim:

1. If your rights at work have been violated, for example, if you were sexually harassed, do not let Human    Resources talk you into writing a huge, long letter about the entire history of your job. Although you do have to come forward and complain, when you are upset you may end up complaining about many more things than what brought you to Human Resources in the first place. If you write anything stick to the subject.  Do not Quit! Call us and get our viewpoint BEFORE you take any action. Prepare a chronology or time line for us to review.   Write out at home what happened and fax or email this to us. When we talk you may be upset- a chronology, or list of events will help us both.

2. You can email your time line with name, address and contact information to rfraley@fraleylawfirm.com.

3. Don't Put Things Off: For example, if you suspect that you should be paid Overtime, but have not, remember there are deadlines that apply to recovering the money that you are owed.

4. Trust: When we talk to you or meet with you, remember that everything you tell us is confidential.Go     ahead and let us know everything- no case is absolutely perfect. Let us know about any problems or issues  so we can deal with them. 95% of the time, if you let us know, we can handle it. The trouble can come if it pops up later in the case, without our knowledge. We will let you know if it is something that reduces the value of your case.
